MUSIC VIDEO FOR BREATHE CAROLINA
This is a full-length, animated music video for the popular EDM duo "Breathe Carolina" (@breathecarolina)
The DJ duo wrote to us with the idea of making an animated video for their song "All I Need." We were happy to create something cool and fun for them. We had just about a month to create the video, including storyboard, 18 backgrounds, 20+ characters and more than 2 minutes of animation. We worked about 16-18 hours per day during the month to meet the deadline.
STORYBOARD
We draw a storyboard with all scenes and put it on the music to approve it with the client and to understand the timing.
CHARACTERS
STORY
Tommy, David and Jordan riding old wheel tricycles. They found a pocket with money and start spending it on new clothes, new wheels, girls and parties.
We created more than 20 characters for this video: 3 main characters, a lot of famous EDM DJs, and minor characters. Here are some below.
BACKGROUNDS
We had a lot of different locations in the video, so we had to draw at least 18 backgrounds. (It usually takes 2-4 days to draw one background.)
First we drew the outlines, then added colors, and after that we drew the shadows.
